Your Money or Your Life

This blog post title is also the title of a book written by Sheldon Richman and published by The Future of Freedom Foundation (FFF) in Fairfax, VA. Though sounding like something a highway man will say it is truly said by the IRS. The book is about why we most abolish the income tax and other Libertarian ideas. As a Libertarian scholar—at least that’s what I consider my self—I do believe that the Sixteenth Amendment to the US Constitution is a mistake and should be repealed as soon as possible. It should be replaced with a national sales tax (NST). This NST should not be more then seven or eight percent. That tax should be on a majority of things. Of course income should NOT be taxed because of what a free market is. If you do not know what a free market is then your not alive. The US market is suppose to be a free market but it is not because of regulation by the SEC and other regulator bodies that govern the market place. In order to stop the IRS a campaign—including a letter writing campaign—most be set in place. I call for all political parties and think tanks that are inclined to liberty (the Libertarian Party, Objectivist Party, The Cato Institute, just to name a few) to join together with all its members to start with me on this campaign as soon as possible. Remembering to Blog

I came to realize that remembering to blog on the days I set forth to blog on is a challenge. An even bigger challenge is trying to always have something to blog about for more then 140 characters. I find tweeting a much simpler way to blog (sorry, micro-blogging) and find my self updating Twitter many times a day. Funny thing just happened I just thought of something to blog about that happened friday night. On the second thought maybe I won’t do that, but instead post something that I said I was going to do at the end of March. But I will do that one after this. Since I am emailing this post to a great site called Posterous (for those who are not reading this post on Posterous, which is a site that allows you to blog via email and sends it to all your social media sites), I will not be doing a post directly to my WordPress or tumblr sites but just to this. Interestingly none of the same name but are all the same theme. I have to run so expect the press realese about this comedy show in a little bit. Best,
